I am renting an apartment through Coastal. It has taken them over 3 months to do anything about the sliding glass door. It never worked properly to begin with, but for 3 months the glass has been off the frame. Right now, the door is being held together by packing tape. I have a 1 year old who is walking, and every single day I have to worry about glass falling on my daughter or falling and breaking on the carpet. Glass doesn't come out of carpet. I WILL NOT have her picking up glass and eating it! This has taken months! All the door needs is a new frame, but they don't want to fix it. They claim they can't decide if its their problem or the homeowners association's. The owner of Coastal Realty saw it for himself. He and the homeowners association already had a meeting to discuss this. They suggested we move out. I'm not paying to break my lease because they don't care about the safety of my child. I'm not paying them to not do their job. I don't recommend anybody use this sad excuse of a company for anything!
