These vacation homes are absolutely amazing. My family and I have vacationed at several different Blue Dolphin Manor properties over the years and have never been let down. Each rental has everything your family needs. Debbie and Fred (the owners) go above and beyond to make certain that your stay is outstanding. The homes are located at the center of all attractions on the Alabama Gulf Coast: Tanger Outlet Shopping, OWA Amusement Park, Golfing, and the beach are all at your fingertips. My family and I are looking forward to staying in these beaitiful homes again very soon!
We rented this home for a family vacation. It was a lovely home with plenty of room for our group. Close to local attractions and the beach (although the beach is more of a drive than what was advertised we didn't mind.)
Throughout our stay we did notice a few things that we were not happy about. The outside lights are put on a timer so at 9 pm you are not able to turn the lights on in the pool or parts of the outside patio space. This was not disclosed. You are also not able to hook up gaming systems to any of the televisions in the house which was also a suprise to us as we were not told this in the beginning. The owner has signs posted throughout the house informing you of what you will be charged for touching the tv or not covering the hot tub etc. Not a big deal but it did seem a bit like you were being micro managed while on vacation. There are also cameras all over the outside of the property so be prapaired to be filmed while staying there. The jetted tub in the master bathroom was disgusting! When we tried to use it the jets had not been cleaned properly so once the jets were on your tub was filled with black particles and you could not take a bath in it. I would advise to bring your own pots and pans also because the teflan on the pans provided is worn off and flaking which is very dangerous if consumed. Some of the furniture throughout the house was also broken but still functional. All in all the house is very large and can accommodate a large group well. It is advertised as fully furnished but we did find ourselves needing a lot of things that were not usable from the house or provided.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We rented this amazing home for one week and had the best time. They make sure you have everything you need plus lots more. The beds were oh so comfortable, plenty of room for large groups, outside is PERFECTION, location is wonderful if you want to get away but still within mins of everything...AWESOME PLACE TO VACATION! We will be back!
