Taken by relative for dinner. What a great southern food restaurant in the hidden gem class. Ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner, you can have any piece you want. .wow cooked when ordered. Not salty, very tender and crispy. The sides are as southern as you can get. Try the fried okra.
Great food. Especially their fried catfish! Also, they have a fantastic cafeteria style lunches daily, with prices out of this world. We ready their often and enjoy the friend home style atmosphere. Located on McKenzie Ave across from Fred's.
The food was okay, but kind of cold and the inside lacked atmosphere. I would probably go back, but it would not be my first choice for seafood.
