We were Irma evacuees. Am VERY thankful America's Best had a room available. They allowed the evacuees pets too. The staff is awesome; very pleasant & kind. The room was very comfortable. The Continental breakfast was minimal, no waffles or juice. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Foley/Gulf Shores Alabama!!

Room was surprisingly clean and comfortable for the price we paid. Interior entrance rooms were also a huge plus at this price level. My only complaint was that I could hear people in the rooms next door and above talking, moving around, etc. Not too big of a deal.

You are looking online right now and maybe like the price of this place! Seems reasonable and relatively close to the beach as well as all the fun, case closed! WRONG! I strongly urge you to NOT stay here! Upon our arrival we found what looked very similar to a bed bug floating in a toilet. And a dead ROACH on the floor behind a loveseat next to the king bed. We were told we could move rooms or get our money back, which was nice. They accommodated us to another room. The toilet in that room leaked at the bottom when flushed a discolored fluid expelled from the base of the toilet that touched the floor. The remote for the TV did not work. The ice vending machine upstairs and downstairs did not work as well as the Coke machine by the pool.

This was the worst Hotel I've every been to. They shouldn't even be considered a hotel... This is definitely a motel. We arrived in Foley early and asked for an early check-in the manager lied to us and said there were no rooms available, however upon surveying the parking lot there were only 20 cars on the lot and the complex accommodates at least 100 rooms. We left and came back a few hours later. Upon checking in the front desk attendant checked us into a smoking room. When my Fiance asked for a non-smoking room (which was advertised at purchase) the attendant said we'd have to pay an up charge because non-smoking rooms aren't standard (what?). After a brief argument and us refusing the room because I have asthma, the attendant said she'd find us a non smoking room. After receiving the cards and heading to the room we enter it and it's still a smoking room. We walk in and notice the damage on the walls, the refrigerator was open and off, and the clock wasn't set for day light savings time. So this room had been sitting vacant for at least a week. Again the front desk manager was a liar. At this point we were exhausted from the trip and just over it. Entering the bathroom you notice the aged everything. The tub was so disgusting I had to go to Walmart and purchase a shower mat, I refused to use the towels, so had to purchase those too. The walls have stains on them everywhere, caulking is old and disgusting, the cleaning was sub par. The bed was just as disgusting. There was other people's hair under the cover and stains on the sheets. I slept full clothed so I wouldn't have to touch the covers. Only good thing was the TV size and that the air worked. This was the worst hotel stay of my life and have no plans of repeating it.

The owners family lives in the rear building and the whole building has a strong odor of some strange spice. the room and beds were terrible ,live roaches crawling in the room, we didn't even unload our luggage because we were afraid we would leave with bugs, priceline had the nerve to list it as compared to holiday inn express!!!!!
