The rooms are very clean. The folks here are very nice. Even the other guest staying here where friendly to each other. I would definitely stay here again, and I will let others know as they travel to the Gulf. Its a true blessing to find a place where everyone can stay together, and your kids can play with other kids, and all the parents are great with it.
We are so very appreciative of the Foley Econo Lodge and their excellent staff! A recent plumbing disaster at our home had everyone making do with sponge baths as we waited for the plumbers to fit our very big job in.
True Southern Charm if your willing to enjoy conversation with good folks ( Strangers). It makes for the start of a good day.
Room, bathroom are very clean, sheets smell fresh. Breakfast is plain but good. First time i ate good tasting sausages at hotel breakfast. Everything is in good condition. Front desk very respectful and helpful. We're coming back for sure.
Fair prices, clean rooms (albeit utilitarian feel), comfortable beds, excellent shower and water pressure, good wifi and nice breakfast with attentive host. Friendly and efficient check-in by Austin. Keioko, the front desk manager was a gracious and a very knowledgeable professional. {My only big suggestion to upper mangement would be to get the common walkways and hallways floors power-washed and epoxy painted with a nice new coat of paint to freshen things up a bit}. P.S. There is this wonderful elderly lady that has worked here for 12 plus yrs that makes breakfast everyday but Sunday. Pure hearted lady. If you get a chance introduce yourself. It will make for a good day.
We highly recommend this location. It's across the road from the mall, with a number of restaurants, all within a stone's throw. A Super Walmart is less than 1/2 mile away.
Finally we decided we needed to rent a room so the 2 grandkids and ourselves could shower. Calling around town we found prices were ridiculous. The Econo Lodge was the only place in town who expressed both concern and sympathy. After hearing our predicament they went out of their way to help. And the rate charged was amazing. The room was not simply beautiful, but spotless. It actually looked brand new. Parking lot and guest facilities were in great shape.
